The two walnut trees in our Pet Paddock at Struan Farm are absolutely groaning with nuts this year. Some branches are so laden that they are touching the ground. Not sure why, but it will be a bumper crop.
John has mown around and underneath the trees to make our autumn harvest easier. In the meantime I will hoard walnut recipes (no squirrel analogies, please...). If you have any good favorites, send them along!
