Another one of my work projects over the holiday was to tackle a corner of the garden that was seriously overgrown. As I started to weed and clean out, much to my surprise, I uncovered rock steps and an established rock garden. Neither John nor Anna remembered that this was there, or who had made it:
I'm about halfway done. That yellow clematis will be saved, there's a second larger one nearby as well. I also found an old "copper" from one of the farm's early water tanks that had been used as a pot, but is now destined for reconditioning:
John and Anna think their sister Julie will know the story of this corner of the garden. The steps don't lead anywhere, but I'll ask her what it's all about. For now, it's a Struan Farm mystery....
