Our "Flatto" peach tree arrived for planting this week at Struan Farm, along with a self-pollinating "All in One" almond tree we've decided to test. Thank you, Mapua Country Trading!
The peach went up to our main orchard area by the new house site, John planted it on Sunday after Clifford and I left, while the almond tree was planted in the Pet Paddock where the walnut and chestnut trees reside.
Since they're not bare root trees they can be planted now. I'm still thinking about a quince, but since those are bare root stock that decision can wait until June.
