This past weekend I cleaned out the tomato plants in the garden at Struan Farm, it was time. I'm starting to think about putting in silver beet (swiss chard), rocket (arugula), and kale.
We grew two heirloom varieties this year that did really well: Black Krim and Black Cherry. I hadn't tried the latter before, but they were excellent. They are like Black Krim, quite meaty with good flavor.
