As predicted, it's been a bumper year for walnuts at Struan Farm. I've been picking them up the last three weekends. This past one with the rain I was only able to gather a small percentage of what is waiting for me--literally hundreds have fallen over the past week and are yet to be collected!
We've got three trays drying in the Homestead already. I'm starting to feel a bit like a squirrel.
