Clifford and I were walking at the pond last Sunday morning and came across Buddha contemplating autumn:
I was in a pretty contemplative mood myself. I was due to have my annual mammogram the next day, followed by a semi-annual specialist visit the following week. As a breast cancer survivor, I try not to think about it too much, but I do. It's the elephant in the room until it's over and done with.
Buddha suggested that being in the moment might be helpful, and he was right. Everything's good.
