Just to explain, it's me that's overdue, not the baby. My friend Kerryn had a baby boy in March. Here it is May and Karen has not delivered anything handknit for Jonathan, her first child.

The pattern is Garter Rib Baby Blanket by Orange Flower Patterns, available for free on their blog here. I'm making it in Blue Sky Alpacas Dyed Cotton (organically grown), in a light blue, color 616. Very easy and cute. I'm about 50% done and am cruising along.
