Given my recent spate of baby knitting it was high time for something else, and something else more interesting. So while momentum was high I tackled one of three UFOs in my knitting bag. (This has been the topic of a previous post, but for non-knitters reading this, a "UFO" is an unfinished object in knitterspeak.)
I'd been working on Coco Knits' Everyday Wrap in Rowan Kidsilk Haze for quite some time (okay, truthfully: one year). The free pattern is available on their website, also via Ravelry. I found it fiddly and monotonous but only had a few inches left to go on the main body of the wrap itself on my needles. With renewed enthusiasm I knocked it off quickly. After blocking, folding and seaming I knit the short little ruffle by picking up stitches along the seam. Fini!
John is wondering where I am going to wear this little number. He has a point, although it does look cute on, is light and airy. One in black would be quite useful, but I just don't know if I can manage another year long odyssey to get there.
Well done, Karen! I love it!
