Had a bit of a field day photographing the native fernheads or "koru" one evening during my recent visit to Doone Cottage in Motueka. The koru is meant to be a symbol of creation, perpetual movement. Iconic New Zealand, really. I like the idea of capturing these fleeting moments of creation, think they're beautiful and rather special:
