It's Not Easy Being Green

Kermit the Frog's song came to mind this past weekend as I worked to paint the new front gate at Struan Farm. It wasn't easy being green.

John had decided that he'd contruct the new front gate once the white primer and undercoats were done on the frame and pickets. After that I could finish up the two coats of green. 

He just hadn't thought too much about how fiddly it was going to be, painting in those tight little nooks and crannies, had he?

But I managed, as you do. One coat down, one to go.
