Lots of roses blooming this weekend at Struan Farm. Given the evidence all around us of the seasonal transition, I couldn't help but think they were giving us their last gasp of beauty for the year.
So it was roses and sweet peas for the table, with a few sprigs of snap dragons:
I'll miss those pink roses especially until next summer!
