Thanks to Heather at Country Trading in Mapua for telling me about Richmond Irises. I had time on Saturday before heading to the airport, so I called in to the gardens/nursery on my way through Richmond. While the peak bloom is over and done with, I was amazed and interested to see the different varieties available and the paddocks, wow.
While some of these are a bit too "frou frou" for me, I'd like more colors and variety in our gardens at Struan Farm. So as you might expect, I'm already looking into this for next season.....
