It was one of those weekends at Struan Farm where paint was involved. The sun was shining, it's spring and time for the annual spruce up for our garden trellises and benches. Used to be that this happened only for family weddings and funerals, we're trying to be a little more structured in our approach to maintenance.
The blue bench from the pond got scraped, undercoated, and completely re-painted. Only I realised once I'd started that this wasn't the right bright blue, rather a navy that we'd used for a chest at the Cottage, oops. Think we'll live with the bench this color for awhile.
So now the trellises and blue bench are looking good, while Karen is more than a bit paint spattered, still!
