This can only go on for so long: discovering cool, rustic things that have been stashed in sheds over the years at Struan Farm.
In the past week I came across an old painted wooden ladder and what turns out to be "prehistoric" wooden scaffolding in John's tractor shed. This would probably be the only shed that we haven't cleaned out as yet, but that will happen eventually.
Hmmm, I feel a wave of repurposing coming on-- these might be great as supports for beans, peas and/or tomatoes in my new veggie garden! John is protesting just a wee bit, says they're Oregon pine (implying that might matter...). But it's not as if he's going to use either an old wooden ladder or ancient wooden scaffolding for any project, is he?
