Let's just say that this has been my dirty little secret. Both John and I knew it was there, hiding in closets, in plastic boxes, the garage, etc. etc. But when we moved from Papakura to Struan Farm the extent of my vast holdings in knitting yarn became quite transparent. Knitters, I know you will share my pain.
The good news is that it now has its own little closet with shelves.
The bad news is that the stockpile is obvious, and I'm not sure I can justify buying any new yarn any time soon, at least to John!
At least you seem to buy enough of a particular yarn to make something substantial, whereas when I buy yarn on impulse I always just buy a ball or three because I can't think of what I'll use it to make (or have no idea how much I'd need for something). And then I find it's not enough for anything.
