Of course you will recall our resident gnomes in the Tawa Grove at Struan Farm. Stuffy, Ringo and Tico were the first to arrive for granchildren Ella, Charlie and Livvy, followed by Doc for Freya and Red for Emma.
Recent news that another grandchild is on the way had our eager "Name the Gnome" contestants clamouring for an order to be placed for yet another gnome. We've suggested that perhaps "Little Leroy" should arrive on the scene first so that he might participate!
But guess what? These wee lads arrived at the gate this week:
A third is in hospital having his legs reattached, but they travelled up from sister-in-law Louise in Inglewood. She had been given them by her mum, Rosemary, who had been given them by her mum, Mae Mae.
So the word is out that Struan Farm is a safe haven for gnomes, and very old ones at that. In fact, these gnomes have returned home to Struan Farm after many years away, rather like John himself.
