You will recall that a few weeks ago a big tree across the road from Struan Farm fell down over SH3, and a couple drove straight into it, totalling their ute.
Well, the good news is that the team from Inframax, our local roading company, got onto the other trees still clinging onto the unstable bank. They've cut them down before they fell down, creating another accident waiting to happen.
At the same time, on our side of the road, they cut out and back some rubbishy trees, including a big branch off a chestnut tree (that makes me sneeze) and an invasive Japanese walnut tree we've wanted to get out for quite some time. And all without trashing the rhodos and camellias we planted on the bank, well done.
Thanks Inframax, great job!
