One of my helpers got around to bringing up a trailer load of leaves from the Pet Paddock at Struan Farm to the backyard at the new(ish) house. Enough for me to load up the raised veggie beds with a blanket for the winter, plus toss some into our compost bins for that all essential "brown" component.
There's a good dose of compost, blood & bone and manure underneath all this too. In spring assuming things have rotted down I'll dig the leaves into the soil, at least that's the plan currently.
