Right now it's pretty much spring bulbs (daffodils and tulips) for the farmstay guest flower arrangements and our table at Struan Farm, with bits and pieces mixed in.
Daffodils look great in situ because of their vibrant colour, especially en masse, but up close individual flowers can actually turn out to be quite munched. So for arrangements it's all about finding those perfect flowers. Here are several, with the odd tulip for a pop of purple:
John is thinking I should plant a line of daffodils along our front roadside Pet Paddock fence near the entrance gate in autumn. It would probably take 2,000 or so bulbs to accomplish this, so I expect to find myself up close and personal with more daffodils then. I'm resting up!
