Gearing up for the annual Taranaki Garden Spectacular, being held this year from 30 October-8 November. In the past it was a primarily a rhododendron festival (Taranaki being known for its rhodos), but has grown to be much more than that, includes tours of amazing local private gardens, speakers, etc. etc.
I decided we needed a sign at the main entrance gate at Struan Farm to make sure gardeners going down and back know we're simpatico. We're a good place to stay, being three hours from Auckland and 1 1/2 hours from New Plymouth. Seriously convenient for people travelling to and fro.
