One of our builders Pete was back at Struan Farm this weekend to help fell some of our macrocarpa trees. John has decided that they're blocking our view of the hills and the river, so we'll start to take them down for firewood for us and others, including Pete and his family.
Pete has all the requisite gear, made quick work of felling three trees and cleaned up after himself too (he knows that this keeps him in my "good books.") Timber!
Over to Mike for the next stage of this project, now that it's begun.
