Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you!
Trust everyone remembers this little ditty. "Roma's Roses" have been blooming for about two weeks now at Struan Farm. I grew the plant from a cutting, and it's now growing as hoped over the Perfect Pergola. While they look fantastic, they are droopy and aren't really a cut flower (although I've used them in desperation as one from time to time).
The big news is that the red Dublin Bay roses have started to bloom, as well as our heirloom orange rose, "L'Oreal Trophy."
They make for much more interesting flower arrangements for farmstay guests and us alike!
