My edible flower garden experiment here in the backyard at Struan Farm has met with its challenges this season, largely from the rabbits. The cornflowers and nasturtium were nibbled, but they have fought back with a little protection from chicken wire.
Happy to see the nasturtium and borage, both edible, in flower. Cornflowers and calendula are coming along as well. The violas unfortunately succumbed to the rabbits.
Aren't they lovely? I've tossed them in with lettuce from the garden for our dinner salad....
