Things are pretty quiet at Struan Farm on summer evenings. Once John and I are in from working outside, we shower and I then prep dinner before we relax over dinner. (John gets to do the dishes.) And of course the animals all wind down after feeding.
It's been funny to watch pet lambs Mickey and Minnie in a post-bottle evening doze out in the front paddock. You can almost see their eyes start to close. I've been tempted to sing a lullaby or two, but know that would probably disturb them!
And of course we let the sleeping dog lie too!
