First Trug

Of course the heirloom tomatoes all started to ripen when I was away up in Auckland for a few days. You know how that goes, right? I returned to Struan Farm to some ripe tomatoes, finally!

I've now got four batches of slow roasted tomatoes in the freezer. Next comes BBC tomato soup. Need to stock up on carrot, onion, celery for that.
