Perhaps I should call this post "Pesto 2017." I've posted previously about the quantity of basil growing away in the glasshouse here at Struan Farm. Visitors marvel. I'm supplying The Fat Pigeon weekly, but that's barely making a dent in what I've grown.
Most is starting to flower and go to seed, and we can't have that. So I'm making pesto. Wish friends Kris and Bob would get on a plane and come back to Piopio, they saved the day last year. This year it seems I'm on my own....
Karen you can feed us pesto anytime! (in about five weeks!) Can't wait!
