I've been working my little fingers to the bone at night here at Struan Farm. Thank heavens for MasterChef Australia airing five nights each week! Grandson Charlie's needlepoint Christmas stocking is done.
He'll be here for Christmas this year from England, so it will be nice to deliver it to him in person. Now it's off to Needle Nook of La Jolla for the velvet backing, satin lining and twisted cord edge with tassels and bells.
Next comes sister Freya, then Violet. But I can't really manage more than one of these per year, I don't think I have that in me...
