John and I went for a walk around Struan Farm a few days ago to check out the lay of the land. It had been raining and we both had cabin fever. As we returned to the house I saw a huge, fat native wood pigeon (kereru) sitting on a lower branch of one of our flowering plum trees. (Of course right behind Clifford's coop!). I sprinted inside to grab my camera while John did his best to manage Clifford.
I crept closer and closer, shooting as I went. One of those special Struan Farm moments!
