John's avenue of flowering awanui cherry trees has had quite the spring here at Struan Farm. We've had little wind and no major rains since they started to bloom. As a result they've turned themselves into such fluffy pink states that they look like candy floss running up the drive. (Truth be told I said "cotton candy" to myself but autocorrected.)
People have stopped to take photos! The tuis and bees have been loving them too. Thought I'd give you one more look at the show before leaves start to appear and rain happens.
