It's an unusual season here in the flower gardens at Struan Farm. Normally we don't have roses in bloom until after Christmas. Except perhaps for Madame Leonie, who makes a habit of arriving early, just like me. But this year all of the roses are in full, glorious bloom in early November.
I suspect this means they'll be asking for more food and care during the longer season, so I'll alert the gardener to add this to her extensive "to do" list.
