Ah yes, the gardening rarely stops here at Struan Farm, especially at this time of the year. But sometimes when I cut things back I pause and say to myself "this is too pretty to toss into the trailer or compost, at least just yet."
And so bunches of wild carrot flowers and eryngium went off in jars to be shared in the Piopio Community Fruit & Veg Stand as "Random Garden Flowers." With a note that they're not edible, and to please return the jars so I can reuse them.
