Yes, just a bit tomato obsessed currently here at Struan Farm! They're coming at us fast and furious. But I was interested to find quite a few mutant tomatoes growing "appendages." Now we won't be rude here, will we?
I did some quick research to see if I could find out what causes this, and found it's called "cat facing," and occurs when there is cool weather during pollination. The blossom sticks to the fruit, which stops part of it from forming properly. So that explains it. I was tempted to give them names, but restrained myself on that one!
