This had John and me scratching our heads. A few days ago when it rained we looked out in the paddock in front of our house here at Struan Farm and saw a large group of sheep standing completely still, not moving at all. Often when it rains they will head under the trees for shelter, but not then. And only one was nibbling the grass, the rest were standing motionless.
Perhaps they were happy for the rain too. Maybe it felt good. Or the unusual event and relaxing sound lulled them into a standing meditation. If I could have asked them I would have, since it went on for quite a long time, almost 30 minutes, very strange! You will see former pet lamb Pepper on the right, she was part of this zombie group. Of course not Rosie, she is never one to follow the crowd, was sensibly under a tree somewhere.
