We're starting to see more obvious signs that spring is arriving cautiously at Struan Farm. While we won't be past the risk of frost until the end of October, the daffodils are up, the first tulips are bravely sticking their heads above the parapet, and the old magnolia tree inside our front entrance gate at the Homestead is starting to bloom.
The huge, beautiful pink flowers hearten me. That is until they start to rain down all over the lawn and drive!
And then of course there are lambs everywhere. Some are more cooperative than others about striking a pose.
