Nephew Mike has erected a rather dramatic burn pile in the old "Bull Paddock" here at Struan Farm. We can see it out from our house, and I had to smile when I noticed sheep going over to nibble the brush, obviously before he sets it all alight on a dry day.
When I was a Girl Scout many years ago now we learned to build smaller versions of this style of fire, called a "teepee," named after the Native American pole tents made with wood and stretched animal skins that are this same shape.
It looks to me like the sheep have decided to gather for a meeting at the "teepee." No doubt to talk about someone babysitting the lambs.
