We're through the Italian parsley "gigante" seedlings here at Struan Farm, next it's on to basil. It's been hot enough for the seeds to germinate and thrive in trays in the glasshouse. Now they need to be put into pots to grow a bit further.
I have stopped planting basil outside given mixed results, find it grows better for me in the heat of the glasshouse. I'll put some of the seedling plants out in the Piopio Community Fruit & Veg Stand to share, and keep some to grow on for cutting for the Fat Pigeon Cafe.
