It's that time of the year when I look out upon "Veggie World" in the backyard here at Struan Farm and smile. It makes me so happy to grow organic veggies for us to eat and also share with the Piopio Community Fruit & Veg Stand.
I especially like the combination of veggies and edible flowers, with other flowering companion plants to encourage pollinators and discourage certain pest insects.
The only thing that would make me happier would be some ripe tomatoes!
