I'm very excited to see my pomegranate bush in the backyard here at Struan Farm flowering this summer, and flowering in considerable volume. Last year as I recall there were about eight blossoms, none of which turned into fruit. This year the number has increased to almost twenty, so I've got my fingers crossed.
I may get out a cotton swab and see if I can pollinate the flowers by hand, since they may need that to fruit. Research required. The bees don't seem terribly interested in them either way.
