The past few days we've had more wild weather here at Struan Farm, high winds and heavy rains. Last night I could have sworn I was feeling the changing weather in my bones. My hands and one knee got sore. And I hadn't been working outside doing extreme gardening, so there wasn't a logical reason for this to be happening.
Today I did a bit of research, and it seems some people can indeed sense changes in barometric pressure. Particularly falling barometric pressure related to an incoming storm or major weather change. It can prompt headaches/migraines, changes to blood pressure and blood sugar, and joint pain. I'd put my symptoms in the last category. Read a bit more about it here.
I've always laughed and accused myself of being a fragile flower, but now that I find myself sensing changing weather it seems this might actually be the case!
Dandelions are a symbol of resilience, so let's make a wish and stick with those.
